Gelgoog-Jager Groin Modification:

I found out from Duncan, aka Gouf, (you can find his site here) that the resin ball joints (indicated with the red arrows) on the groin piece that comes with the conversion kit can not support the weight of the upper torso. So I decided to modify it.

First, I cut off the resin ball joints and then drilled a hole through the resin where the ball joints used to be. Next, I cut a metal rod (indicated with the blue arrow) to the proper length to insert through the newly drilled hole. Last, I cut off the plastic ball joints (indicated with the red arrows) from the groin piece that came with the MS-14A MG kit. I then hollowed out the plastic ball joints so that they can slide over the metal rod.

Add a little bit of glue and voila - weight problem solved.
