This is a 1/15 scale Mospeada VR-052F Ride-Armor kit. This was an old Imai plastic model kit, so it had its issues. The elbow joints were not well hidden and quite ugly-looking at that. Same goes for the knee joints. So needless to say, I had to fix them. To do that, I made modifications to both the knee and elbow joints (links to see how I modified them listed below), as well as made the arms and legs in a fixed position. I also modified the shoulders and forks that support the wheels (links also listed below). Another small thing I needed to fix on this kit was the hands. They had no detail on either the top or bottom part of the closed fists. So I scribed in some detail. You can see the outcome in most of the pics.

For the paint scheme, I wanted to stay pretty close to the original colors as seen here. I did change a few things, but not much. The kit was completely airbrushed with Tamiya Acrylic paints except for the metallic painted areas. I used Alclad Steel for those areas. This was the first time I used Alclad, and I must say I am extremely happy with the results. After painting the entire kit, I then used a mixture of Future and Tamiya Flat as a top coat for the kit.
